Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and underwrite submissions with precision and adherence to guidelines and delegated authority.
- Provide top-tier customer service through addressing quotes, re-quotes, and endorsements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to a unified and effective operation.
- Stay ahead of market trends and support product development through research and analysis.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Guide and support new underwriters through mentorship and foster a collaborative environment.
- Engage in ongoing professional development including required underwriting classes, exams, designations, and training.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of underwriting experience in Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal, or Management & Professional Liability lines.
- Insurance-related coursework (CPCU, RPLU, etc.) is a plus.
- 5+ years in any of the following: other insurance roles, financial services, or legal services.
- Willingness to travel as needed to maintain effective customer interactions.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $100,000+ per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
