Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Licensed Virginia Notary Public, or willingness to become licensed within first 30 days. Several years of residential real estate closing experience. Prior experience working in real estate, mortgage, or title field. Experience with title insurance required. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with lenders, borrowers and closing attorneys. Time management skills with ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities. Effective problem-solving skills, be efficient, and detail oriented. Be a team player able to work within a small group, self-motivated, and a positive attitude. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Knowledge of underwriting systems is a plus. Prior experience in a government-regulated industry is a plus.
