ProfileSummer Internship The intern will research and write Congressional correspondence, help constituents find information, work with federal agencies, field constituent phone calls, and work with staff on research projects. In Washington, D.C., an intern’s duties also include attending committee hearings or briefings, responding to legislative inquiries from constituents, and a variety of other tasks. Must be undergraduate student who has completed at least one term, graduate student, or recent graduate. Preference will be given to strong ties to the 2nd District of Washington State. Should be interested in the legislative process and have excellent writing and research skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to complete tasks as assigned. Note: This is an unpaid internship.
