Patent Paralegal The candidate will prepare and file Information Disclosure Statements with US and foreign Patent and Trademark Offices. Will review Office Actions and patent files for prior art before payment of issue fee. Effectively organize references in connection with patent portfolios into prior art databases and routinely maintain these databases. Collect materials needed in connection with duty of disclosure. Manage attorney and client dockets relating to the duty of disclosure in US and foreign jurisdictions. Develop and maintain knowledge of patent office rules and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree is essential. 3-5 years of experience working in patent prosecution is required. Professional, tactful and confident communication is essential. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook is required. Knowledge of CPI and/or IPDAS is preferable.
