Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a securities lawyer with 6+ years of experience to join their Investment Funds Group. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial real estate law, with expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including representing public and private real estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors in transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, complex financings, and development of commercial real estate. This opportunity is available in multiple . office locations.

Location:

  • Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee structured securities offerings, including real estate finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on various matters related to acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and commercial real estate development.
  • Represent clients in complex legal transactions and provide strategic counsel.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, legal documents, and contracts related to securities and real estate transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to client management and expanding client base.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of legal services to clients.
  • Handle multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience managing structured securities offerings.
  • Strong background in commercial real estate law, focusing on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions.
  • Experience in managing complex transactions and structuring legal solutions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, while also working independently.
  • Experience working at a prestigious law firm, particularly in an AmLaw 100 firm, is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
