The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax or financial planning experience. 3+ years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization. Active progress towards a CPA certification or membership in The Bar. An understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within area of technical professionalism is important. Excellent collaboration, negotiation skills, the confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds is crucial. Experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax will be useful. A proven record in high net-worth tax planning and thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning is preferred.
