Real Estate Paralegal / Legal Assistant Duties: Drafting of real estate correspondence. Tracking, monitoring, and calendaring all relevant dates. Preparation of deeds and supporting documents. Preparation of statements of sale. Online title research at various registries of deeds websites. Drafting preliminary title documents and amending them. Assisting with disbursements, reviewing, recording and filing of closing documents. Maintaining files on an ongoing basis. General administrative duties dictated by attorneys’ needs. Focus in real estate, corporate and elder law, taxation, trusts, and estates seeking real estate paralegal or legal assistant for a full-time position supporting a team of attorneys.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university. 3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience with a focus on real estate transactions. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Experience with TABS preferable but not necessary. Excellent follow up skills and attention to detail. Proactive, mature, and professional.
