Probate Paralegal The candidate will be reviewing estate planning documents in connection with drafting petitions for probate and other legal documents related to the processing and closing of estates. Will be tracking deadlines at the county,state, and federal levels. Valuing assets and compiling asset summaries, inventories, accountings, and final reports. Completing and reviewing federal and state-level estate tax returns. Communicating directly with clients, beneficiaries, appraisers, and asset managers by phone, email, and formal correspondence. Should have 3+ years of pqe. Must have a college degree and more than three years of experience directly servicing probate and trust matters, including experience with: the Microsoft Office suite, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat; organizing large quantities of paper and electronic documents; and drafting clear and concise general correspondence.
