Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate responsibilities will include to: case management, client billing, office administrative duties, preparation for real estate closings (both sellers’ and buyers’ side) and side-by-side work with lead attorney. Candidates interested in the position do not need to have a formal paralegal certificate; however, it is preferred. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree, as well as experience with billing and drafting legal documents. Candidates must also have experience in real estate law, specifically knowledge with how to prepare a closing packet, draft a HUD settlement statement, and experience with preparation of title policies. A strong emphasis in writing and attention to detail is also essential, as well as computer skills and fluent dictation. Those with experience working with visually impaired individuals will be preferred over other.
