Legal Assistant The candidate will provide administrative support to the attorneys of the firm, with the primary focus being civil and family law litigation. Position responsibilities include: managing document organization, maintaining filing systems, word processing, legal document drafting, and schedule implementation and maintenance. Position responsibilities also include: managing sensitive, highly confidential, and proprietary information with the highest discretion, creating and maintaining contracts, reports, and other legal documents, managing and maintaining applicable deadlines, coordinating meeting schedules, calendars, and conference calls, and preparing initial drafts of routine form legal documents. Will also be asked to perform other projects and tasks as they may arise. Must have 1 year of experience and be proficient in MS Office.
