Legal Assistant The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. Will answer telephones and conduct new client intake interviews. Schedule Appointments, dictation transcription. Review and Organize client files including medical records, and reports. File incoming mail. Day-to-day file management, including speaking with clients, following up with medical providers and insurance carriers. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Record and store client information.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have 2 years of experience. Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field preferred. Experience in Workers' Compensation Claims and/or Social Security Disability claims preferred. Familiarity with standard word processing software (Word, WordPerfect, etc.) essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
