Profile

Paralegal Duties: Docketing and scheduling events. Adding ticklers/reminders to attorneys’ calendar and firm calendar as needed. Scheduling consultations for prospective clients. Scheduling mediations, hearings, trials, meetings, etc. as necessary with court contacts, opposing counsels, clients, staff, and attorneys. *Helps attorney prepare the client and file for court/mediations. Serves as witness or notary as necessary. Managing attorneys’ mail and email. Scheduling client calls/meetings. Assuring that the attorneys’ calendars are accurately and meticulously maintained and organized in an efficient manner. Interacting with court and administrative agencies re: hearings, mediations, motions, and other appearances. Functions as the court’s primary point of contact with the Firm for all administrative and scheduling issues. Drafting, sending and/or e-filing correspondence and basic pleadings.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Law office experience. A team player with paralegal experience, preferably in family law, be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. A professional demeanor is essential.
