Job Overview:

A law firm located in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Creditor's Rights Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cases related to creditor rights, utilizing the firm’s case management and reporting software, and ensuring superior client care. The role requires court appearances and some travel, a thorough understanding of consumer credit collections, and compliance with state and federal laws. Multi-state licensure is highly preferred.

Duties:

• Actively manage assigned cases using the firm’s case management and reporting software.
• Appear in court for hearings and trials, which may require occasional travel.
• Provide expert legal counsel on consumer credit collections, including adherence to state laws and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients to ensure superior client care.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and share insights.
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be a member in good standing of the Arizona State Bar.
• Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to client care and proactive communication.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Arizona State Bar is required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in case management and reporting software.
• Strong knowledge of consumer credit collections and FDCPA.
• Excellent court appearance and litigation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
