Part-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will manage and support the daily functions of the Las Vegas office. Will work cohesively with the assistants of the Utah and California offices to ensure seamless functioning of the firm. Perform various administrative duties in addition to law related tasks at the direction and under the supervision of the attorneys of the firm. Drafting correspondence, maintaining and organizing client files, filing documents in state and federal courts, state and federal research, hearing preparation, hearing and deadline docketing, and case management. Processing incoming and outgoing mail, attending to general firm related phone calls and tasks, ensuring supplies are readily available, organizing and attending to various firm related functions, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have a legal assistant/paralegal certificate or degree from a reputable institution and have 3 years of experience working in a law firm under the direct supervision of an attorney. Bachelor’s degree preferred. State and federal civil litigation experience is preferred. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer technology essential.
