ProfileInternship Program, Fall 2018 The candidate will work with the Generation Progress Internship. Interns get access to special events such as film screenings and conferences and the opportunity to use words like substantive on a daily basis. Other duties may include conducting targeted research and reporting on policy meetings, seminars, hearings, and lectures; contributing to Generation Progress’ digital, social media, and press strategies; and helping plan events, trainings, and roundtables. Whenever possible, interns are encouraged to write on the subject of their choice either as a contributor to a larger final piece or as an individual author of an article for the website. Law students are considered. Note: Part-time students are accepted, but interns must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. Duration: September to December Application Deadline: July 1, 2018.
