ProfileSenior Analyst-Legal/Compliance The candidate promotes compliance and commercial support to the privacy function in the Legal Department. Responsibilities include project management, program support and administrative functions related to privacy activities and initiatives. Typical day would include the following: Assists with managing and documenting the privacy engagement process. Work with business teams to provide appropriate privacy engagement documentation and instructions and answer questions. Coordinate required privacy assessment activities, including scheduling project meetings, compiling monitoring/audit summaries, documenting corrective actions. Impacted topics may include HIPAA Assessments, EU Data Protection, GLBA, and Red Flags Rule. Review proposals for internal and external projects including information gathering to understand subject matter and geographic scope, processing activities, third party involvement, and potential data uses. Drafting privacy FAQs for business projects. Assist with reporting of any incidents to emergency operations center. Examines and analyzes available information to determine patterns and gaps to assist Legal Department in recommending appropriate courses of action to the business on a periodic basis (e.g. quarterly) to support organizational goals. Manage version and internal distribution of templates for Business Associate Agreements, cross border data transfer agreements, data security addendums, and other agreements for contracting with clients and vendors. Receive, distribute, log, and reply to requests for review of schedules and amendments related to personal data. Updates and maintains internal documents on Intranet websites. Maintains privacy SharePoint site. Works with technical resources to create, update or, modify the privacy tools and technology. Develop training, including PowerPoint presentations, checklists, etc. on various topics to assist in understanding and following Alight’s privacy protocols. Tracks privacy training course roll-out. Facilitates and promotes activities to foster information privacy awareness within the organization. A Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; J.D. encouraged. Should have Data privacy, regulatory or compliance experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
