Senior Contracts Specialist Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing, negotiating and drafting agreements, notices and amendments (including non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, services contracts, distribution agreements, etc.). Prepare and organize contract templates for the Legal Department. Manage the contract management system by updating the database with contracts and using the automated functionality to inform managers of expirations, renewals, etc. Continually evaluate and improve processes for preparing and managing contracts with a business-minded approach Assist Legal team members on a wide variety of contract and legal matters as needed Initiate drafts of policies, procedures and training decks. Furnish assistance, especially relating to contracts, in the due diligence and closing phases of business development transactions Undertake other projects as requested. Follow company policies and practices.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or other relevant post-secondary education required; Paralegal Degree or Certification strongly preferred. 10+ years of experience working with a variety of contracts, with a preference for experience in a global company in technology-heavy industries. Must be driven and self-motivated with a strong desire for learning. Experience working in a corporate legal department.Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a high-pressured environment and attention to detail is imperative to be successful in this position. Ability to execute an appropriate course of action considering all relevant variables. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business leaders, and others. Ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures on new assignments or projects. Knowledge and proficiency to use personal computers and advanced knowledge of related software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
