The candidate performs legal research, prepares motions and matters on calendar to expedite court calendars, and performs related duties as assigned. Should have graduated from an accredited school of law; be a member of the California State Bar in good standing; currently employed as a Los Angeles Superior Court Law Clerk; and notified in writing by the Managing Research Attorney of eligibility OR should have graduated from an accredited school of law; be a member of the California State Bar in good standing; have served a total of 2 years as a Los Angeles Superior Court Law Clerk; and received two positive performance evaluations. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California and a member in good standing of the California State Bar. Strong research capability is desired.

Note: The position is restricted to current and former Law Clerks of Los Angeles Superior Court.
