Legal Assistant/Paralegal Responsibilities: The candidate should manage all Court filings, serve and file/e-file documents in court, work with attorney to organize briefs, exhibits, and appendices, create document indices. Preparation of various legal documents, litigation and Trial Support: copying, document organization, exhibit preparation. Assist attorney with case organization and related scheduling. Prepare materials for case preparation, including attorney hearing binders and case files. Manage other projects and office support as needed. Support the attorney in their work. Communicating with clients, client intake and follow up, as well as preparing correspondence to clients and opposing counsel. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements : The candidate should have prior experience as a legal assistant and have a proven track record of learning quickly. Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized. Must work well under pressure: Must be self-motivated and efficient. Must be proactive and anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the clients and attorney to meet or exceed their expectations. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency. Should be fluent in English / Spanish.
