Compliance Case Analyst, Disability & Leave Services Duties: Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of process documents related to reviewing and analyzing leave and accommodation cases and related data. Partner with other compliance and legal stakeholders to create documentation or other materials that may be used in litigation preparation. Be responsible for tracking and researching legal and regulatory requirements that impact the DLS program. Consult with policy, process, and system owners to ensure content is up to date and accurate. Translate complex business concepts into clear, concise and appealing content. Partner closely with the Compliance Manager to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external legal counsel. Work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. Meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, and maintain a strong attention to detail to meet organizational objectives and quality measures. Respond to questions and escalations that may involve review of cases, data, policies, plan documents, and other materials to provide detailed summaries of a case or related cases.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. 6+ years of experience in HR or Legal. 3+ years of experience working with absence, leave, disability, return to work, and accommodations. Preferred: Substantial experience in an HR, compliance, or risk management role. Substantial experience as a paralegal, or similar role. Experience in administering or interpreting the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and similar regulations. Experience drafting case summaries or trend analysis. Experience identifying trends in complex data sets. Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate. Experience communicating to a diverse, global audience. Excellent writing and editing skills. Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, specific strength in setting and managing expectations.
