Litigation Case Paralegal
Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate case support for various types of litigation matters. Conducting factual investigation by gathering information and conducting employee interviews; Overseeing matter-specific collection of electronic and hard copy materials for potential production and tracking these activities using internal databases; Utilizing internal enterprise legal management system to track and maintain precise status of litigation activities on assigned matters; Working closely with assigned attorneys to strategize best approaches for each matter, aligning on matter deliverables and timing, and keeping the matter team (internal and external) well-apprised on internal discovery activities and custodian status; Utilizing sophisticated in-house search technology and databases to formulate and conduct document searches, generate search queries, and provide summary of results to assigned attorney to evaluate and preserve all relevant data sources and custodians; Reviewing propounded written discovery on assigned matters and assisting in the preparation of written discovery responses; Working closely and collaborating with internal and external team members to manage matters in the most effective and efficient manner and ensuring that litigation processes and procedures are current and fully defensible.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: 5+ years' litigation paralegal experience, or prior relevant experience with paralegal certificate, or bachelor’s degree. Experience using enterprise legal management (ELM) support software for organizing matter information and utilizing search and metric report features; knowledge or experience in specific technology (Onit ELM, legal hold technology (Exterro), Google Vault suite, etc.) and certification in project management (PMP, Agile) a plus. Strong research and investigative skills and demonstrated resourcefulness in tracking down hard to find information. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrated project management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
