Duties:

- Lead negotiations and work toward resolving eminent domain cases both before and after litigation has been filed.
- Try eminent domain cases before a civil jury, demonstrating strong courtroom presence and litigation skills.
- Manage and supervise paralegals, providing guidance and directing their work on case preparation and client communication.
- Present cases persuasively to various stakeholders, including residential, business, and commercial property owners.
- Maintain strong client relationships by keeping clients informed and offering high-quality, responsive service throughout the litigation process.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in eminent domain law in North Carolina.
- Proven experience in trying eminent domain cases in North Carolina.
- Current licensure to practice law in North Carolina.
- Strong client-facing skills with an ability to build trust and provide clear legal counsel.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve complex eminent domain matters before and during litigation.
- Detail-oriented with a balanced approach to managing case specifics and the bigger picture.

Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
