Legal Assistant II The candidate: Assists in the preparation of VP work product. Distributes internal and external agreements and correspondences. Answers phones, schedules appointments, confirms meetings, maintains daily schedules, photocopies material, facsimile and e-mail distributions, routes incoming and outgoing mail that may include large distribution lists. Maintains tickler system for follow-up; updates entries of status of projects in various status report databases. Composes and generates letters and memos. Researches quotes for actors, writers, producers, and directors. Generates expense reports. Liaises with internal departments and external entities as needed. Routes articles to lawyers and other company officials. Files correspondence and legal documents in office filing system. Ensures proper indexing and filing of original legal documents. Must have 2-3 years of entertainment and/or legal experience. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet software is essential. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Should have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management.
