Sr. Dir.,Corp. Counsel Emp & Labor The candidate will be responsible to drafts legal documents (e.g., contracts, response to demand letters, position statements or legal memoranda). Counsels management on legal requirements, corporate polices and procedures, best practices and strategies for managing exposure. Assist in the review, assessment and treatment of non-compete, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements and claims. Will assist in negotiate successful outcomes on employment and labor issues or potential litigation through formal and informal dispute resolution. Review and draft contracts with senior management, vendors and contractors.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be graduate from an accredited law school with J.D. with a strong academic record, admission to at least one state bar. Must have 10+ years for professional legal experience. Substantial relevant subject matter experience required in one or more of the following fields: wage and hour compliance, OFCCP compliance, labor organizing campaigns and negotiation of mandatory bargaining issues, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title VII, regulatory compliance, contracts, regulatory compliance, and employment or labor litigation.Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to express complex legal issues in clear, concise language.
