Commercial Lending Associate
The candidate will join the Commercial Lending practice group in the Banking and Financial Services Department. Must be members in good standing or eligible to waive into the Illinois Bar. Must have 3-5 years of experience representing lenders in commercial lending transactions at a law firm, bank, or other finance company. Prior Experience representing lenders in commercial finance transactions, in particular, secured and unsecured bank and private equity fund lending from origination through documentation is preferred. Experience in advising banks, private equity funds, and other financial institutions in documenting credit transactions is a plus. Should possess a working familiarity with UCC Article 9 and mortgage and property law. Strong communication and client relations skills and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple transactions are essential. Should have strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills, superior academic credentials as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
