Profile2018 Internship Program Interns will learn many of the basic skills it takes to become a communications professional in a progressive nonprofit from a front-row seat. Will be assigned day-to-day activities to help integrate them into the work. Interns help monitor news stories, compile news clips, develop target press lists, staff CAP events, assist with preparing interview briefing materials, shadow expert interviews on TV and radio, and much more. Other duties may include conducting targeted research and attending policy team meetings, congressional hearings, panels, and events.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: All high school, undergraduate, Master’s level, Ph.D., and JD Degree students are eligible to apply. People are also eligible if they are a veteran or a recent college graduate within six months of graduation.
Schedule: 20 hrs/wk
Duration: 8-10 weeks/ September–December
