ProfileSan Francisco office of our client seeks health and welfare attorney with 3-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have substantive knowledge and understanding of the laws governing health and welfare plans, including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code (including Section 125 cafeteria plans), Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, and COBRA and their respective implementing regulations and guidance. Should preferably have experience with drafting plan documents, summary plan descriptions and other plan communications and with negotiating service provider agreements. Experience with benefits-related provisions in mergers and acquisitions transactions is plus.
