Litigation Paralegal The candidate will conduct legal research and social media searches. Collect, review, analyze and organize litigation documents. Document production in response to discovery requests. Prepare and issue subpoenas; summarize depositions. Draft pleadings and discovery. Monitor on-going case activity and pending deadlines.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have five plus(5+) years of paralegal experience in litigation. Paralegal certificate required. Experience in electronic discovery process essential. Strong project management skills. Energetic, organized, detail oriented and disciplined with the willingness to work hard. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a team, through effective communication strategies and a mutual support/"can do" attitude. Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines and other time constraints, with competing and shifting priorities. Knowledge of and commitment in the use of technology for litigation support and trial preparation. Professional and positive interaction with attorneys, clients and co-workers. Eagerness to learn. Strong reading comprehension and writing skills. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
