Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trial Attorney specializing in Employment Law, particularly Wage & Hour cases. This individual will be responsible for managing a docket of employment law cases, representing clients in litigation matters, and ensuring favorable outcomes. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative legal team, handling trials, mediations, and arbitrations, while also advising clients on employment law matters.

Duties:
- Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Develop and execute case strategies, presenting arguments before judges and juries.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial.
- Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on litigation matters.
- Collaborate with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.
- Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
- Supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
- Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts.
- Monitor compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Participate in client development and business generation activities.
- Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
- Develop and implement litigation budgets.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in class actions or complex civil litigation.
- Trial experience, including depositions, motions, and courtroom advocacy.
- Strong background in procedural rules governing class actions (., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure).
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million dollar class action settlements.
- Track record of successful class certification motions.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
