Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm is actively seeking associates to join their Patent Group. The candidate should have 3+ years of patent prosecution experience. Candidate will (1) develop, write and edit material for reports, opinion letters, applications and related technical publications concerned with scientific work methods, procedures and inventions in their scientific field (2) analyze, review and prepare licenses agreements, investor due diligence studies and opinion letters concerning patents and patent applications; (3) prepare and review patent applications by applying high level substantive knowledge of biological science, current research, scientific methods and analysis; and (4) assist with advice to clients concerning patentability of inventions, infringement of patents and validity of patents. A . in chemistry or biology (or a related field) is preferred but a Masters degree will also be considered for a strong candidate. Bar admission (in MA ideally) and USPTO admission is required.
