Intellectual Property Legal Assistant Duties: Performs a variety of administrative duties mostly related to patent, trademark, and copyright law for attorney(s) in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Strong team environment, works closely with the paralegal assigned to the same group. Challenging and fast-paced work in a congenial setting. Maintains positive contact with clients, attorneys and staff and observes confidentiality of client matters.
Qualification and Experience
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma and 3 years of progressively responsible legal administrative experience. Experience related to trademark, copyright or patent prosecution or registration, and/or related to litigation would be highly useful in this position, but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with speed and accuracy. Proficient with other office-related machines. Intellectual property experience preferred, litigation experience a plus, or requisite skill set and enthusiasm.
