A prominent New York personal injury law firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Premises Liability Attorney to join its high-profile Premises Liability department. The firm handles a large volume of high-value, high-profile cases, and the successful candidate will manage these cases from inception to trial. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to further develop their litigation skills while working on multimillion-dollar cases and earning substantial bonuses based on performance.

Location:

  • New York City, NY

Duties:

  • Manage litigation cases from inception to trial in premises liability matters.
  • Engage in court, deposition, and motion appearances throughout New York.
  • Mentor junior associates and provide guidance in case preparation and legal strategy.
  • Handle high-value personal injury cases, including six and seven-figure settlements.
  • Negotiate and mediate settlements and engage in trial as needed.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure case success.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury or premises liability law.
  • Admitted to practice in New York.
  • Experience with trial and settlement is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, motivated, and capable of managing high-value cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

  • Expertise in personal injury and premises liability law.
  • Experience handling complex litigation cases, including trial experience.
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
  • Ability to mentor and lead junior associates.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
