Duties:

• Represent clients in all stages of civil litigation, particularly in areas such as construction law, premises liability, insurance defense, and automobile negligence cases.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop defense strategies and case management plans.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, client communications, and court proceedings.
• Review and analyze case files, insurance claims, and litigation documents.
• Provide sound legal advice and guidance to clients regarding case developments, strategy, and potential outcomes.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, and mediations as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of South Carolina.
• 1-3 years of experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense or related areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active South Carolina Bar License required.
