Legal Secretary/Paralegal Duties: Will be responsible for providing administrative support for attorney with a heavy case load as well as assisting with both pre-litigation and litigation files. Interacting directly with clients, providing excellent client service and timely response to questions. Including scheduling client for hearings, depositions other appearances, providing them detailed and accurate information and instructions. Manage, maintain and update attorney s calendar ensuring that appointments, meetings and other obligations are included. Update and draft correspondence, communications and other documents as needed for internal and external purposes. Data enter case notes into CSR case management system as directed. Maintain and manage client files, ensuring that all relevant documents are included within the file; file new documents into appropriate files as received. Review court dockets and track tentative rulings for attorney appearances and update calendar as appropriate. Coordinate Appearance Attorneys as needed based on court schedule. Create and manage Appearance Folder for each case, including all case notes, summary of last actions, relevant documents and paperwork. Ensure attorney has updated Appearance Folder prior to each court appearance. Draft recap of weekly team goals and meeting notes; perform other administrative duties as assigned, including travel arrangements, expense reports etc.

Candidate must have 3+ years related experience in a civil litigation law form. Must be self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to function with little direction. Must be organized and efficient with high accuracy and attention to detail. Must have excellent client service skills, strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook required. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Must be comfortable translating information for discovery responses.
