Real Estate Legal Assistant The candidate will assist attorney and staff with administrative and clerical issues such as: performing title searches to determine ownership and lien status of properties; preparing deeds, mortgages and other closing documents; preparing title abstracts, and legal descriptions for deeds; preparing documents relating to real estate such as rental or lease agreement and property restrictions; preparing wills and other trust documents; preparing pleadings and motions; and scheduling hearings and depositions. Keep the clients updated with all proceedings. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Plan and organize work to meet schedules and time lines. Must have 1+ year of experience with real estate firm or in a real estate setting. Experience with Doubletime and Propel a plus.
