Licensing and Subcontractor Support Coordinator
Responsibilities: Creation and maintenance of a national professional licensing matrix detailing the type and scope of the professional licenses required to be held by each legal entity and individual employee, date(s) of acquisition of license(s), renewal dates, and the identity of the responsible employee and/or business holding the license. Contact and coordinate with state and local agencies to obtain proper licensing paperwork, make inquiries as to proper licensing procedures pursuant to that agency and facilitate the processing of licensing documentation to ensure timely and accurate filing of all licensing documents. Coordinate with internal customers (including but not limited to tax team, operations team, accounting department, legal team) and complete the processing of licensing paperwork to ensure timely and accurate filing of all licensing documents, effectively communicate the requirements of each license, and provide creative solutions (within the licensing statute) to licensing difficulties. Create and maintain a library of nationwide licensing regulations. Work closely and manage all subcontractor relationships and ensure their compliance to dormakaba policies. Perform other duties as directed by the Manager in support of departmental goals.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Paralegal or other certification is a plus. 2-4 Years of experience in licensing required (security industry experience is a plus). Proficient in computer skills including MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel etc. Ability to obtain and understand nationwide, state, and local licensing regulations including but not limited to business, contractor, local, and tradesmen licenses. Strong interpersonal (customer service orientation) and communication skills (both oral and written). Must have the ability to work independently and strong time management/priority setting skills in order to manage the needs of the business including identifying risks. Demonstrates general knowledge of compliance and insurance regulations. Familiarity with specialized insurance services industry related systems and applications. Effective organizational and time management skills. Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data and established data systems.
