Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation cases related to labor and employment law, particularly in the education and public agency sectors
  • Provide legal counsel on issues such as discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and employment practices
  • Represent public agencies and school districts in court proceedings and administrative hearings
  • Advise clients on labor laws, employment policies, and best practices to ensure legal compliance
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to manage a diverse caseload
  • Engage in mediation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution processes as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and labor and employment law
  • Strong background in handling cases related to discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct
  • Ability to work effectively with public agencies, school districts, and other governmental entities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
