Part Time - Paralegal or Legal Assistant for Elder Law Candidate will be working around child/childrenâ€™s school hours or other commitments. Will perform a variety of tasks to support staff, including maintaining and organizing files and drafting documents. Will be the back-up in handling administrative responsibilities; such as incoming calls, scheduling and calendaring appointments; managing mail and scanning documents to our clientâ€™s database files; and working closely with attorneys and clients.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Paralegal certificate or past experience working as a legal assistant is required. Good English grammar skills and the ability to communicate clearly are essential, plus, as would a wide array of computer skills; solid academic credentials, maturity, self-confidence, adaptability, and the ability to successfully multi-task. Maintaining confidentially is a must, as this position involves working with clients private matters. May be a parent with school age children or someone wanting to semi-retire.
Schedule: 20-30 hours per week.
