Managing Counsel The candidate will manage and develop LCC programs in cooperation with the LCC Board of Directors, the Executive Director of the LCC (the General Counsel of the), and the Legal Department. Will involve conceiving, coordinating, and expanding the LCCâ€™s educational programs for labor lawyers at every level of experience; serving as a resource to the union lawyer community; promoting unions and the practice of union-side labor law; advancing diversity in the labor bar; building relationships with academics and law students; contributing to the knowledge, skill and activism of LCC members in order to better support the labor movement and its work; and providing counsel to the LCC Board, including planning Board meetings and insuring compliance with corporate duties. Responsible for developing and coordinating educational meetings, seminars and conferences (including the annual, national LCC conference), managing and expanding the LCCâ€™s electronic resources, expanding membership, and establishing and building relationships with allied legal and non-legal organizations. Involves working closely with the firmâ€™s General Counsel and other lawyers. 3+ years of relevant experience. Deadline: August 30, 2018.
