Commercial Paralegal The candidate will provide duties include: Providing first class support to all relevant Group departments requiring legal support on commercial and corporate documents. Working within agreed guidelines: draft and review a wide variety of transactional agreements. Assisting with the administration of the process and organization of commercial agreements. Assisting with the updating of in-house commercial and corporate precedents. Facilitating through to completion all stages of commercial agreements. Developing and maintaining relationships with third party law firms and internal business personnel. Working closely with internal teams (e.g. marketing and finance) to provide legal and procedural direction and advice, appropriately balancing risk and reward of projects. Contributing to review and improvement of processes on ongoing basis.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have previous paralegal experience in the US. Must have a paralegal certificate and have 3+ years’ previous experience in private practice within a law firm or in-house at a company which specializes in e-commerce or digital media. Must have proven commercial drafting and review expertise in respect of a wide range commercial documents. Must have excellent professional written skills with first class attention to detail. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, including with respect to managing a large number of transactions. Extensive knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and legal terminology is a must for this role. Must have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook or similar e-mail/calendar technology. Knowledge of relevant databases is beneficial. Must have experience with internet gaming, whether in-house or in private practice. Experience in law in multiple jurisdictions is really beneficial.
