Duties:
- Represent clients in real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and related legal documents.
- Advise clients on real estate matters such as zoning, title issues, and land use regulations.
- Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate law in South Carolina.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
- Handle disputes related to real estate issues, including litigation when necessary.
- Guide junior attorneys and staff as needed.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience practicing real estate law is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the South Carolina Bar and in good standing.
