A law firm seeks a motivated Real Estate Attorney to join its growing team in Greenville, SC. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, tech-forward legal environment. Duties:

  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts and related legal documents.
  • Advise clients on real estate matters such as zoning, title issues, and land use regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate law in South Carolina.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to ensure successful transaction outcomes.
  • Handle disputes related to real estate issues, including litigation when necessary.
  • Guide junior attorneys and staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience practicing real estate law is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the South Carolina Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to review and draft complex legal documents.
  • Experience with real estate transactions and dispute resolution.
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
