ProfileImmigration Attorney Duties: Conduct thorough intakes to ascertain immigration relief; Handle large caseload providing direct representation to individuals eligible for immigration relief; Provide representation to individuals in immigration removal proceedings as well as before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration Courts, or Texas state courts if related to a client’s immigration case; Assume general administrative responsibilities, including detailed case management supervision of a legal assistant, and timekeeping; Conduct Know Your Rights presentations and other community outreach, as needed, in San Antonio, West Texas and/or South Texas; Other duties, activities, and responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school Admission to Texas state bar preferred; Fluent in Spanish (speak, read and write); Experience in immigration and family law preferred; Able to travel between San Antonio, Pearsall, Karnes, South Texas and/or West Texas.
