Domestic Relations Paralegal The candidate must have 5+ years of divorce paralegal experience. Must be able to coordinate and take primary responsibility for preparing Rule 401 financial statements; preparing and responding to discovery requests, including Rule 410; preparing complaints for divorce, modification and contempt; scheduling matters with the court; basic drafting of motions; preparing subpoenas; and managing deadlines. Must be knowledgeable about the rules of Domestic Relations Procedure and familiar with the pleadings and Court rules. Should have experience working with clients in all aspects of divorce cases, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work with multiple attorneys and excellent time and workflow management skills. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Must be proficient in Excel.

Restructure HR to deal with the issues between employees so that the atmosphere can be more positive. Pay employees what they are worth.

Pros : The firm is small, so that fosters a sense of community. The work is fairly easy and workers are not pushed too hard. Decent balance for work and life. It is nice to be able to interact with everyone.
Cons : So much laziness! Complaints and some nastiness between coworkers are frequent, and HR doesn't seem to take complaints seriously. Pay is less than average.
