Compliance Manager The candidate will attend client and prospect meetings to discuss company's capabilities as well as emerging legislative and regulatory mandates. Will participate in public speaking events (i.e., educational events) sponsored by company or third parties. Travel to different company offices to meet with company Employee Benefits staff and their clients/prospects. Draft legislative alerts or legislative updates on new legislation, regulations or judicial developments impacting employee benefit plans and their administration. Develop internal and external training materials and presentations for staff and clients on emerging employee benefit trends. Perform compliance review of clients' plans. Collaborate with other CCO's (Compliance Chief Officers) in drafting articles for monthly compliance bulletins. Should have J.D. degree. Must have 2-5 years of Employee Benefits experience. Should have experience drafting summaries on new legislation or regulatory developments. Significant industry knowledge required. Effective public speaking skills are needed. Up to 50% travel is essential.
