Duties:
- Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategies.
- Manage case files from inception to resolution.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with clients.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Maine State Bar (or eligibility for admission).
