Job Description The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of patent prosecution experience and a strong background in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Additional experience in any of the following areas is beneficial: - Managing patent portfolios - Working on patent opinion letters - Advising on non-infringement and invalidity issues - Conducting patent due diligence related to corporate transactional and M&A matters A mechanical or chemical engineering background is preferred. Candidates must be registered with the USPTO and either be admitted in Illinois or be eligible to waive into Illinois.
