Patent Attorney The candidate should have a degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field with several electrical engineering courses. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Work experience in the electrical engineering field is ideal. Experience with computer-aided drafting/modeling programs is desired. Experience with patent searching, patentability analysis, clearance analysis, and patent landscape analysis would be an asset. Curiosity to learn technologies outside of the field of study is a plus.
