Team Lead/Supervisor-Commercial and Consumer Services The candidate function includes: Supervises Commercial & Consumer Servicing staff; leads and participates in departmental projects; works with internal and external clients including insurance agents to ensure correct and adequate coverage is provided. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing prompt and courteous service in a professional manner to both internal and external customers; tracking commercial insurance policies for renewals; processing insurance updates and cancellations in accordance with established guidelines while ensuring the highest level of accuracy is achieved in a timely manner; processing documentary collection requests; completing quality control reviews for loan documents pre and post booking; scanning all documents into proper systems of record; processing decedent account requests; processing bankruptcy, judgments, charge off maintenance and e-oscar disputes; handling inquiries/complaints and servicing consumer and commercial loan products and services within the various lines of businesses. Responsibilities also include ensuring timely and accurate processing/delivery of loan requests and inquiries; developing and establishing proper department policies, procedures, and internal controls; ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements; and assessing, monitoring and coordinating training requirements for staff. This person will manage operational functions, assess, monitor, and coordinate staff training and development to add value and enhance efficiencies in pursuit of the bank’s business and strategic objectives. This person will also perform all duties and interacts with internal and external customers in a manner aligned with the Company Core Values of Teamwork, Integrity and Exceptional Service (TIES).

Qualification and Experience

A College degree required; graduate degree or law degree helpful. Experience: 10+ years in loan servicing experience and knowledge in consumer, commercial and/or residential mortgage loans (banking experience). 3+ years supervisory experience or education equivalent. 3+ years Insurance experience (including commercial and flood). Should have excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Must be proficient in the use of the PC and MS Office applications, Loan Accounting Systems and Scanners and Imaging Systems. Must have a strong understanding of laws and regulations that govern the perfection of liens for UCC, real estate, and other types of collateral. Comprehensive understanding of loan accounting systems. Credit knowledge important to interpret written loan requests accurately.
