Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to assist with case preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations under supervision.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases involving workplace harassment, discrimination, and wage/hour violations.
  • Participate in litigation processes, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, providing case updates and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Some experience in employment law, specifically wage and hour law, is preferred (training will be provided).
  • Strong legal research skills.
  • Ability to draft clear, persuasive legal documents.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and colleague interactions.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License.
