Executive Assistant - Legal -Pharmaceutical The candidate will under minimal supervision, provide administrative support to the department head and the staff within the department. Will compose and prepare written correspondence, take messages from oral and written notes and other documents. Generate check requests, expense reports and contracts. Update calendar and contact lists, maintain files, confidential documents and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics. Coordinate monthly management and staff meetings, arrange program events and client meetings; including facilities and catering. Participate in the support staff activities, orientations, presentations, and take notes as needed. Administer general office organization including ordering supplies, photocopying, filing, and faxing documents. Perform designated tasks and coordinating the work of others. Manage highly confidential matters with discretion and judgment. Perform other duties as needed for successful completion of projects.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have high school diploma/GED with 6+ years of prior experience of which 2+ years are supporting an executive; equivalent combination of advanced degree and less experience is considered. Bachelorâ€™s Degree is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal is preferred. Excellent organizational skill is essential. Knowledge and experience using the complete suite of Microsoft applications is essential.
